Escape to our 103-acre Excelsior property conveniently located on Lake Minnewashta southwest of the Twin Cities metro, a beautiful natural setting for group rentals, corporate retreats, weddings, and other special events.

Camp Fire Minnesota offers multiple spaces to rent, indoors and outdoors. Built in 2020, our Community & Dining Center features floor-to-ceiling windows to keep your guests close to nature, AV on both the upper and lower levels, an indoor gas fireplace, a kitchen, gender-neutral restrooms, and a flexible floorplan for up to 200 guests inside. The Center also features an outdoor terrace with seating, a wood-burning fireplace, and a deck overlooking the woods full of gorgeous silver maples and oaks. And with 103 acres…embrace the great outdoors! Reserve many outdoor gathering spaces like The Heart of Camp, Corona Circle, Ginkgo Circle, and Big Woods Overlook. Cozy up to a campfire or enjoy a hike on our beautiful trails.
Team-Building
Looking to build camaraderie or just a little more fun? Our talented staff works with each group to develop a custom program around your specific goals. Camp Fire staff will lead your group in an experience that encourages conversation and ideas of how your group can work better together. If your group is simply looking to have fun, we do that too! Activities may include archery, snowshoeing, challenge courses, high ropes, climbing walls, canoeing, kayaking, guided nature hike, and more.
